Access voicemail while roaming internationally

Dial the International access code, or press and hold the 0 key to display the plus (+) symbol, if in the GSM mode.
Dial 1.
Dial your 10-digit wireless number. For example, if you were checking from Mexico, you would dial 00 1 555 123 0000.
When your recorded message begins, press the Star (*) key to interrupt it.
Enter your voicemail pass code followed by the Pound (#) key.

I see where you're coming from; however, he mentioned you couldn't access Voicemail and you can access it while roaming
