To activate your phone on Sprint.com, you must have a valid My Sprint account and be set up with an account owner or account authorized profile. Not registered for My Sprint? Sign up here.
If you are not an account owner and do not have permission to change settings on your account, the person who set up your account will need to make the phone swap for you. Read more about the different levels of profile access on sprint.com.

To activate your phone online:
Sign in to My
Sprint with a valid username and password
In the My Account area, scroll down to the About my devices
section and find the phone you would like to swap out
Select Activate a new phone from the drop down menu located to the
right of the phone (shows Manage this device)
Before you continue activating your new phone:
Note: You may be asked to backup your address book. If you want to do
this, just follow the instructions on the page.
Once your phone is fully charged, find the DEC, HEX or IMEI code on
your phone or on the label of the box your new phone came in. To find it on
your phone, just remove the battery cover and battery; it will be printed on a
label under the battery.
Enter just one of the codes (DEC, HEX or IMEI) in both the Your new phone's
code and Confirm your phone's code fields
Enter a valid email address in the Email Address field to receive your
confirmation message once the activation has been completed
Check that the old phone to deactivate and new phone to activate are correct
and click Continue
Review your plan information and details on the page to make sure your plan
has the services your phone needs and click Continue
Make sure the battery is fully charged
DO NOT turn on your new phone; this could cause problems with
Deactivation of your old phone and activation of your new phone will begin;
once activation is complete, turn on your phone and follow the steps on the Programming
Instructions page to begin using your new phone
Note: You may need to switch your plan or add-ons and will be asked to
reselect your plan if a new plan is required.
