Add a new phone to share minutes online

You can quickly and easily add a phone to share minutes with your existing plan online via My Sprint. Not registered for My Sprint? Sign up here.

To add a new phone to your existing plan, you must have a valid My Sprint account and be set up with an account owner or account authorized profile. If you are not an account owner and do not have permission to change settings on your account, you will not have permissions to add a phone to share minutes. To add a phone to share minutes with your existing plan online:

Select your phone

  1. Sign in to My Sprint with a valid username and password.
  2. On the My Account page, scroll to the I want to navigation tool on the right-hand side and click Add a phone to share minutes.
  3. Select the plan you would like to add a phone to, then click Add a device.
  4. The Phones page will display. Click the phone name to see detailed feature descriptions, customer reviews, videos, tutorials and more.
  5. Once you have decided on a phone, select the color (if applicable), a 1-year, 2-year or no agreement, and the quantity.
    • Note: Everything that's included in our plans may not work on all phones. Some phones you choose may require a plan change.
  6. Click Buy.
  7. You will be prompted to pick another phone to add to your plan, or continue to select optional add-ons. If your current plan does not work with your new device, your next step will be to choose a plan.

Choose your add-ons (optional)

Add-ons vary depending on the type of device you have. If you don't see the add-on you are looking for, click the Chat link at the top of the page and ask the agent if the add-on is available. If you wish to bypass add-ons, click Continue and then click Confirm.

  1. Select additional add-ons to complete your plan and click Continue, then click Confirm.

Note: Some add-ons are included in your plan and cannot be removed without changing your plan. These will display with gray check boxes next to them and you will not be able to unclick the checkbox.


Add accessories (optional)

If you wish to bypass accessories, click Continue.

  1. Select accessories to complete your device and click Continue.

Review your order and checkout

  1. Review the items in your cart and enter any promo codes (if applicable). Once you are ready to purchase, click Checkout.
  2. If you would like to purchase an additional device, select Keep shopping. To empty your cart and start over, select Empty cart.
