Call a satellite phone

Last Updated: May 01, 2014

When calling a satellite device, the device could be traveling throughout the world; rates are determined by the country code/phone number of the device. To determine rates for calling to a satellite number, check for Satellite in the country rate list. You can determine the rates for the number you are calling by verifying the country code of the number:

Country code Satellite phone description
870 Satellite (Inmarsat SNAC)
871 Satellite (Ocean Atlantic East)
872 Satellite (Ocean Pacific)
873 Satellite (Ocean Indian)
874 Satellite (Ocean Atlantic West)
881 Satellite (Global Mobile)
882/883 Satellite (International Networks)
