Check your GPS signal

Last Updated: Nov 18, 2013

  • The GPS signal cannot pass through solid non-transparent objects. Signal reception may be affected by obstructions such as high-rise buildings, tunnels, bridges, forests, weather (rainy or cloudy days), etc.
  • Sprint® Navigation application alerts you if you do not have a valid GPS signal.
  • If this happens, move to an area where there is a clear view of the sky so the GPS satellite signal has access to the GPS receiver in your phone.
