Compose and send a text message from your Sprint phone

- From your phone, press the Menu key
- Scroll to and select Messaging
- Press the OK key to select Send Message
- Select a contact or enter a phone number to proceed
- Enter the message, and then press the OK key
- Press the Send button to send the message
Note: Include the area code when entering a phone number.
Note: The maximum message length is 160 characters.
Note: When sending a text that is within the U.S., do not include the (+) plus sign in front of the 10-digit dialed number. The message may be rated incorrectly because it is interpreted as a message sent to an international destination.
