Steps to create a Google account on your Samsung Galaxy S 4

  1. From the home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap the Accounts tab.
  4. Tap Add account.
  5. Tap Google.
  6. Tap New.
  7. Enter your first name.
  8. Enter your last name.
  9. Tap the Next arrow.
  10. Enter your preferred username.
  11. Tap the Next arrow.
  12. Enter your preferred password.
  13. Confirm your password.
  14. Tap the Next arrow.
  15. From the drop-down menu, tap to select a Security question.
  16. Enter the Security question answer.
  17. If possible, enter a recovery email address.
  18. Tap the Next arrow.
  19. You can also set up a Google+ account.
    • Follow the prompts to Join Google+.
    • To skip this step, tap Not now.
  20. Tap to check or uncheck Turn on web history and Keep me up to date with news and offers from Google Play.
  21. Tap the Next arrow.
  22. Enter the distorted letters or symbols for security purposes.
    • Letters may be case-sensitive.
  23. Tap the Next arrow.
  24. You can also set up a credit card.
    • Follow the prompts and tap Set up credit card.
    • To skip this step, tap Not now.
  25. Tap to check the preferred sync options.
  26. Tap the Next arrow.
  27. You've now created a Google™ account.
