  • What is AirDrop?

    It's a new way to share content with other Apple devices that have AirDrop. It uses both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to search for nearby discoverable Apple devices to send the requested content.

  • How do I use AirDrop?

    1. On both Apple devices, tap and slide up from the bottom of the screen to display the Control Center.
    2. Tap AirDrop.
    3. Tap Contacts Only or Everyone as you prefer.
    4. On the sender's device, open the content to be sent (such as a photo, note, voice memo, contact, etc).
    5. Tap the Share icon.
    6. In the AirDrop section of the Share menu, tap the recipient.
    7. On the recipient's device, tap Accept.

    Send a picture or video via AirDrop.
