FAQs about the Sprint $60 Unlimited Plan

What is the Sprint $60 Unlimited Plan?

  • Introducing the best unlimited plan among national carriers. With the Sprint $60 Unlimited Plan you get unlimited data, talk and text while on the Sprint network for only $60 per line/mo.
    • Customers will purchase the Unlimited Talk and Text for $30 per month/per line and Unlimited Data for $30 per month/per line.
    • Early upgrade option is available for an additional $5 per month per line for Easy Pay customers.
  • Offer eligible to customers who are activating a new line of service on a new or existing account and purchase the new device thru Easy Pay, pay full SRP or bring their own Sprint-certified device (excludes Assurance Wireless, Boost Mobile, Sprint Prepaid and Virgin Mobile devices).
    • Customers, new or existing, with a service term agreement may select this plan for $85 per month.
  • All monthly prices exclude taxes and fees.

Who is eligible for the $60 Unlimited Plan?

  • New accounts or existing customers adding a line of service.
  • All lines on an existing customer’s account can switch to these plans by meeting one of these conditions:
    • One phone on your account was purchased on Sprint Easy Pay
    • One line is no longer under a one- or two-year term agreement
    • One line is upgrade eligible on your account and you are upgrading to a new device on Sprint Easy Pay
    • By adding a new line of service to these plans on your account
    • Note: The line meeting one of the above conditions must switch to the Family Share Pack or $60 Unlimited plan for other lines on the account to be eligible to switch.
  • Customers, new or existing, with a service term agreement may select this plan for $85 per month.

What is the $5 per month early upgrade option?

This option is available to customers who are purchasing or upgrading a phone through Sprint Easy Pay with a qualifying plan. Simply choose to add on the $5 per month early upgrade option onto the Sprint Family Share Pack or the Sprint $60 Unlimited plans within 30 days of the new activation or purchase of a new phone through Sprint Easy Pay. After you've paid the $5 monthly charge for 12 consecutive months, you can upgrade to a new phone on Sprint Easy Pay. Giveback of your current phone will be required. See Sprint Giveback Program Terms. The charge will discontinue either when you chose to upgrade the phone or pay off all of your installment payments.

How does the $5 per month early upgrade option work?

Simply choose the $5 per month early upgrade option within 30 days of purchase or activation of a new phone through Sprint Easy Pay. After you've paid the $5 monthly charge for 12 consecutive months, you can upgrade to a new phone on Sprint Easy Pay. You have to give back your current phone to upgrade. See Sprint Giveback Program Terms. The $5 monthly charge will discontinue either when you chose to upgrade your phone or pay off all of your installment payments.

Can I cancel my $5 per month early upgrade option?

Yes, you can cancel the $5 monthly charge at any time. If you cancel, you will not be permitted to add the option back on until your next phone purchase and you will lose the option to upgrade early if you have not completed any early upgrades that you are eligible to receive.

I currently have a phone on Sprint Easy Pay and I am interested in moving to the Sprint $60 Unlimited plan but want to keep the early upgrade option I've been paying for on my current plan. What can I do?

If you are currently paying for a phone through Sprint Easy Pay and your current plan includes an early upgrade option (for instance, the $20 unlimited data and early upgrade option with your Framily Plan), simply add the $5 per month early upgrade option when you switch to the Sprint $60 Unlimited plan. We'll apply the number of consecutive months you previously paid for to this early upgrade option. Once you've made 12 total consecutive payments for the early upgrade option on a qualifying plans and installment agreement, you're eligible to upgrade to a new phone on Sprint Easy Pay! You have to give back your current phone to upgrade. See Sprint Giveback Program Terms.

Is the $5 per month early upgrade option available on phones purchased with a 2-year service agreement?

No. The $5 per month early upgrade option is only available on phones purchased through Sprint Easy Pay and payments for the option under your current plan would not transfer to this plan.

Can I add Mobile Hotspot to the Sprint $60 Unlimited plan?

Hotspot is not included. However, Mobile Hotspot add-ons are available.

Does the Sprint $60 Unlimited plan have roaming restrictions?

Yes. Off-network roaming is limited to (1) voice at 800 minutes or a majority of minutes and (2) data at 100MB or a majority of kilobytes.

Is Sprint Unlimited Guarantee included in this new plan?

No. Customers who signed up with the Sprint Unlimited Guarantee will have access to unlimited talk, text and data while on the Sprint network as long as they stay on a rate plan that includes The Sprint Unlimited Guarantee and the account remains in good standing. The new plan will not include the guarantee; so, to keep the guarantee, customers will have to remain on Unlimited My Way or My All-In.

Can I switch my account from the Framily plan to the Sprint $60 Unlimited plan?

Yes, existing customers can easily move to the Sprint $60 Unlimited plan if they meet the eligiblity requirements:

  • New accounts or existing customers adding a line of service.
  • All lines on an existing customer’s account can switch to these plans by meeting one of these conditions:
    • One phone on your account was purchased on Sprint Easy Pay
    • One line is no longer under a one- or two-year term agreement
    • One line is upgrade eligible on your account and you are upgrading to a new device on Sprint Easy Pay
    • By adding a new line of service to these plans on your account

The Sprint Simply Unlimited Plan features unlimited data, talk and text while on the Sprint network for $50 per line/mo. and is available for both new and existing customers that purchases a non-discounted iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus through 1/15/2015; up to 10 lines on your account.

A customer can purchase their non-discounted iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus through the iPhone for Life Plan, Sprint Easy Pay, pay full price or bring your own Sprint or multi-mode unlocked iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.

If you are eligible for an upgrade, regardless of your service term agreement, and purchase a non-discounted iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, you can change to the Sprint Simply Unlimited Plan for $85 per month through 1/15/2015; up to 10 lines on your account.

All monthly prices exclude taxes and fees.

Who is eligible for the Sprint Simply Unlimited Plan?

  • New or existing customers purchasing a non-discounted iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.
  • Customers must remain on their non-discounted iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus in order to remain on the Sprint Simply Unlimited Plan. This plan is not available to any other smartphones. It is exclusively for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
