What does this new plan mean for me as an existing customer?

Sprint Family Share Pack delivers ultimate choice, flexibility and savings on your terms. We are committed to ensuring that Sprint is the best value for your wireless needs. Please visit a Sprint store, or dial *2 for more information.

Do I have to make a plan change?

If you are happy with your current plan, you don't need to make a change.

When I upgrade to a new phone, can I keep my current plan?

If you are happy with your current plan, you don't need to make a plan change even when you upgrade to a new phone, as long as your device and plan are compatible.

Why should I want to change to this plan?

Sprint Family Share Pack offers ways to save you money based on your wireless data needs. This plan allows you to share data across multiple users and types of devices within your account. Plus, if you switch additional lines to Sprint and add them to an eligible Family Share Pack plan, those lines may be eligible for additional savings.

Can you explain why there are different monthly access charges?

Family Share Pack pricing includes a monthly data allowance charge that varies based upon the amount of data you select.

The plan also includes a monthly access charge for each device on the plan (up to 10). Access charges vary based on device type.

You will qualify for discounted device access charges ($15-25 per phone based on your data allowance) if you purchase your phone with Sprint Easy Pay or choose a lease option. If you choose to buy a phone with a 2-year service agreement, your device access charge will be $40 per phone.

You can get the Sprint Family Share Pack plan with no contract if your purchase your device with Easy Pay, lease your device, pay full SRP for your device, or bring your own Sprint device.

Can I switch my account from the Framily plan to Sprint Family Share Pack?

All lines on an existing customer's account can switch to these plans by meeting one of the following conditions:

  • One phone on your account was purchased on Sprint Easy Pay
  • One line is no longer under a one- or two-year term agreement
  • One line is upgrade eligible on your account and upgrading to a new device on your account
  • By adding a new line of service to these plans on your account
  • Note: The line meeting one of the conditions above must switch to the Sprint Family Share Pack plan, the $50 Unlimited plan or the $60 Unlimited plan for other lines on the account to be eligible to switch.

Can tablets or mobile broadband devices be added to the share plan without a phone?

The Sprint Family Share Pack requires at least one phone on the plan.

What is Easy Pay and what are the benefits?

Sprint Easy Pay gives eligible customers an affordable option to pay for their phone, tablet or mobile broadband device over time. Customers purchase an eligible device with a variable down payment, depending on device, and agree to 24 monthly installment payments for the device. Learn more.

What is Sprint Lease?

Sprint Lease is an industry-first option that gives you the flexibility to lease select smartphones and tablets for a lower monthly cost versus purchasing the device. A lease is different in that Sprint owns the device. At the end of your lease term, you can purchase the device and own it outright, or return it to us and upgrade to the latest device.

  • When you lease your phone, you get our lowest monthly cost and lowest 2-year cost for device + plan
  • Well-qualified customers can get a new phone every 24 months with $0 down
  • We also offer 12-month and 30-month lease options on select devices

Do I have to choose Sprint Easy Pay or a lease option to qualify for the Sprint Family Share Pack plan?

No. However, you will qualify for discounted device access charges ($15-25 per phone based on your data allowance) if you purchase your phone with Sprint Easy Pay or choose a lease option. If you choose to buy a phone with a 2-year service agreement, your device access charge will be $40 per phone.

Can I still get an early upgrade?

Yes, if you are an Easy Pay subscriber. For an additional $10/mo, per phone line, you have the option to upgrade to a new phone every 12 months.

If you want to upgrade every year and prefer a lease, you can choose a 12-month lease term on select devices.

Are Easy Pay monthly installments included in this pricing?

No, the device payments are a separate transaction that is charged monthly depending on the device you purchase. With an Easy Pay transaction, you can save money on your access/plan charge.

What is the $10-per-month early-upgrade option and how does it work?

This option is available to customers who are purchasing or upgrading a phone through Sprint Easy Pay with a qualifying plan. Simply choose to add the $10-per-month early-upgrade option onto the Sprint Family Share Pack or the Sprint $60 Unlimited plans within 30 days of the new activation or purchase of a new phone through Sprint Easy Pay. After you’ve paid the $10 monthly charge for12 consecutive months, you can upgrade to a new phone on Sprint Easy Pay. Giveback of your current phone will be required; click here for details. The charge will discontinue when you choose to upgrade the phone or pay off all your installment payments.

Can I cancel my $10-per-month early-upgrade option?

Yes, you can cancel the $10 monthly charge any time. If you cancel, you will not be permitted to add the option back on until your next phone purchase and you will lose the option to upgrade early if you have not completed any early upgrades that you are eligible to receive.

I have a phone on Sprint Easy Pay and I am interested in moving to the Sprint Family Share Pack plan, $50 Unlimited plan or $60 Unlimited plans but I want to keep the early-upgrade option I've been paying for on my current plan. What can I do?

If you are currently paying for a phone through Sprint Easy Pay and your plan includes an early-upgrade option (for instance, the $20 unlimited data and early-upgrade option with your Framily Plan), simply add on the $5-per-month early-upgrade option when you switch to the Sprint Family Share Pack plan, $50 Unlimited plan or $60 Unlimited plan. We'll apply the number of consecutive months you paid for to this early-upgrade option. Once you've made 12 total consecutive payments for the early-upgrade option on a qualifying plan and installment agreement, you're eligible to upgrade to a new phone on Sprint Easy Pay. Giveback of your current phone will be required; click here for details.

Is the $10-per-month early-upgrade option available on phones purchased with a 2-year service agreement?

No. The option is available only on phones purchased through Sprint Easy Pay, and payments for the option under your current plan would not transfer to this plan.

When can I enroll in the $10-per-month early-upgrade option?

Simply ask your sales representative or enroll within 30 days of a new activation or phone purchase through Sprint Easy Pay. Customers on an existing early-upgrade offer can switch to this offer any time even if more than 30 days have passed since the last phone purchase on Sprint Easy Pay, and we will apply consecutive payments paid to this early-upgrade offer. The charge will discontinue when you choose to upgrade the phone or pay off all your installment payments.
