  • What is Media Transfer Protocol (MTP)?

    MTP is a feature built into the LG Optimus S™. It doesn't require extra software.

    When you plug your LG Optimus S into a computer, it automatically connects using MTP.

    After you connect via MTP, your LG Optimus S behaves and installs as a storage device. You can then access the memory card and phone storage.

  • What is the role of the memory card?

    The memory card is the main storage for your LG Optimus S. Your LG Optimus S also has 512MB internal storage.

    When you capture images or video, they automatically save to the memory card. All Internet and application downloads, Bluetooth® file transfers, and most media types automatically save to the memory card as well.
