  • What is Samsung Kies and what can it do?

    Kies is an application for your computer that:

    • Synchronizes your Samsung Transform™ contacts and calendar with Microsoft Outlook®
    • Synchronizes your bookmarks with your computer web browser
    • Moves images, videos, music, playlists and other files to your Samsung Transform

    Download and install Samsung Kies.

  • What is Media Transfer Protocol (MTP)?

    MTP is a feature built into the Samsung Transform. It doesn't require extra software.

    After you plug your Samsung Transform into a computer and tap Turn on USB storage, it automatically connects using MTP.

    Your Samsung Transform then behaves and installs as a storage device, and you can access the memory card and phone storage.

    Transfer files to and from your Samsung Transform via a USB cable.

  • How does the memory card work?

    The memory card is the main storage for your Samsung Transform. Your Samsung Transform also has 512MB internal storage.

    Captured images or video automatically save to the memory card.
    All Internet and application downloads, Bluetooth® file transfers, and most media types automatically save to the memory card as well.

    Your Samsung Transform supports microSD cards up to 32GB.

    Sprint recommends storing data to your memory card so you can easily transfer the card to another device.
    Your data is safer if you need to troubleshoot your Samsung Transform.
