Find and update the software version on your HTC Touch PRO

Just like your computer, your phone's software needs to be updated periodically to make sure you have all the latest fixes and enhancements to keep it running at optimal performance. Follow the steps below to check your current version and perform any needed updates.

- Improvements have been made to the following: 3-way calling, call-answer and virtual QWERTY keypad

Check the version on your phone
To find the current ROM version on your Touch Pro:

  1. From the Home screen, tap Start
  2. Tap Phone
  3. Tap Menu
  4. Tap Device Information.
    • On the Version tab, the ROM version and PRL are displayed
    • The Hardware tab displays details such as RAM/ROM used space and free space
    • The Identity tab lists the model number, platform and the MDN
  5. Tap OK to return to the Dial Pad
    • Software Version will be listed in the format 1.XX.XXX.X

Update your software
To download the hotfix or update your version, from your computer, go to our Touch PRO download site and follow the step-by-step instructions.
