Check the version on your phone
To find the software version on your LG Optimus S™:
- From the Home screen, press Menu and tap Settings
- Flick up to scroll down and tap About phone
- Flick up to scroll down and the software version is displayed under SW Version
Update your software
Note: Recommended system updates will be pushed directly to your phone for you to accept for automatic download.
To update your Optimus over the air:
- From the Home screen, press Menu and tap Settings
- Flick up to scroll down and tap About phone
- Tap System Updates
- Your phone will check for updates or display Your system is currently up to date
- If there is an update, just follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it
