Find and update the software version on your Motorola Renegade V950

Check the version on your phone
To find the software version on your V950:
- From the Main screen, press the center navigation key
- Select Settings/Tools, and press the center navigation key
- Select Settings, and press the center navigation key
- Select Phone Info, and press the center navigation key
- Select Version, and press the center navigation key
- Select CDMA Software Version
- Software Version will be listed in the format: WATER2_XX.XX.XXX
Update your software
To update your V950 over the air:
- From the Main screen, press the center navigation key
- Select Settings/Tools and press the center navigation key
- Select Settings and press the center navigation key
- Select Phone Info and press the center navigation key
- Select Update Software and press the center navigation key
- The following message appears, Please wait…Checking for update… and you will be prompted to install the update after it is downloaded to your device
