Check the version on your phone
To find the software version on your Samsung Epic™ 4G a Galaxy S™ phone:
- Go to the Home screen
- Tap Menu > Settings > About phone
- The software version will be listed under Build number and Baseband version
Update your software
To update your Samsung Epic 4G over the air:
- Go to the Home screen
- Tap Menu > Settings > About phone > System updates > Update Android
- Your phone will automatically download and install any available updates; you may need to power your phone off and back on to complete the software upgrade
