Find and update the software version on your Samsung Restore

- Resolves music fading in and out after ending an incoming call while listening to music via Bluetooth
- Allows 30 second videos to be sent using multimedia messaging (MMS)

To find the software version on your Samsung Restore™:

  1. Select the Home key
  2. Select Settings
  3. Scroll down and select Phone Information
  4. Scroll down and select Version
  5. The Software Version is listed to the left of S:

Update your software

To update your Restore over the air:

  1. Select the Home key
  2. Select Tools
  3. Scroll down and select Update Phone
  4. Scroll down and select Update Firmware
  5. Checking for software update… Please wait will be displayed
