Just like your computer, your device's software needs to be updated periodically to make sure you have all the latest fixes and enhancements to keep it running at optimal performance. Follow the steps below to check your current version and perform any needed updates.

Version History

To view the current version of Sprint SmartView software:

  1. Go to the Mobile Broadband Device section on www.sprint.com/downloads and select your device
  2. Under Sprint SmartView listing, click the More details link
  3. Scroll down to Technical Specifications
  4. The Software Version will be listed
  5. Compare the version listed to the one on your device, and if it does not match, follow the instructions on the website to download the current version

Check the version on your device

To find the software version on your Sprint 3G/4G USB U600:

For Sprint SmartView version:

  1. From the Sprint Smartview Menu, select Help
