Fix an issue when Picture Mail messages sent from your Samsung Instinct to recipients on other wireless carriers may not be received

Last Updated: Apr 11, 2014

You may experience the following issue with your Samsung Instinct®.

Picture Mail messages sent from your Instinct to recipients on other wireless carriers may not be received and no error or notice of non-receipt is sent back to your Instinct phone. The Sprint Multi-Media Server service has an upper limit of 6MB for total message size, and pictures taken with the Instinct may be too large for other carriers' service to accept.

If the Picture Mail message size being sent is too large for the recipient's carrier to access, send the Picture Mail message to the recipient's online email account or to an email account they can access from their mobile phone.

Note: At any time, you can check that you have the latest software version for your phone. For instructions on how to check your software version and update your phone software, refer to Check for Updates.
