A software update corrects the following issue with your BlackBerry® Curve™ 8350i smartphone.
When you use a Bluetooth® headset with your BlackBerry Curve 8350i smartphone that is not in its holster, you won't hear an incoming call ringer through the speaker, and you may miss hearing an incoming call notification if the Bluetooth device is not on your ear.
To fix this, please update your handset software to version 4.6.1.204 (316) or greater.
If you need to work around this problem and want to use a Bluetooth headset, but not wear it on your ear until an incoming call is received, keep the Bluetooth device in its holster in order to get incoming call vibrating notifications. You can also try changing the settings to loud or vibrate.
Note: At any time, you can check that you have the latest software version for your phone. For instructions on how to check your software version and update your phone software, refer to Check for Updates.
