If Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync® (Outlook®) email has been started using the Palm VersaMail® email application, you may receive an alert reading Sprint: Please press the Sync button in the Reminder listing of your Palm® Centro™.
This message is sent after three failed attempts to auto-sync email, contacts or calendar, alerting you to manually sync Exchange ActiveSync. There is no issue with your smartphone. This message is provided as part of the smartphone's functionality to conserve battery life.
Note: The inability to auto-sync can be due to a variety of reasons such as being in roaming status or on a roaming network out of the coverage area. It is not due to email application errors or smartphone issues.
To manually sync your phone from the alert message:
