Know what coverage to expect with older single-band phones or plans that don't include roaming

The ability to use our services and the coverage areas available to you will depend on the kind of phone you have and the services you sign up for. If you have an older, single band phone or a plan that does not include roaming, take a look at the coverage map below to get an idea of your coverage area.
The coverage areas depicted below apply to you if:
- You are using data on a Sprint As You Go no-contract plan.
- You have a single band phone that only works on the Nationwide Sprint Network.
- You subscribe to a data service that is only available on the Nationwide Sprint Network such as Sprint Family Locator or the Sprint Music Store / Sprint Music Plus, etc.
- Your plan does not include roaming coverage; that is, you are charged for calls made while off the Nationwide Sprint Network.

Important Coverage Information: Our coverage maps provide high level estimates of our coverage areas when using your device outdoors under optimal conditions. Coverage isn't available everywhere. Estimating wireless coverage and signal strength is not an exact science. There are gaps in coverage within our estimated coverage areas that, along with other factors both within and beyond our control (network problems, software, signal strength, your wireless device, structures, buildings, weather, geography, topography, etc.), will result in dropped and blocked connections, slower data speeds, or otherwise impact the quality of services. Services that rely on location information, such as E911 and GPS navigation, depend on your device's ability to acquire satellite signals (typically not available indoors) and network coverage. E911 services also depend local emergency service provider systems/support.
