Know what to do if you receive Error 67 or PPP Error using your U301 USB Device Sprint 3G/4G Mobile Broadband with your Mac

If you receive an Error 67 or PPP Error on your U301 while using it with a Mac, try the following steps:

  • Check your signal strength; if it is poor, move to a different location in the building to get a stronger signal
  • Remove the U301 from your computer, shut down SmartView, restart SmartView, reinsert the U301 and attempt to reconnect
  • Update your Data Profile
    • From the Tools menu, go to Settings > Hardware tab
    • Click on your device listing to highlight it
    • Click on Edit Device Settings button
    • Click on Update Profile button
