What is Sprint Easy PaySM?

Sprint Easy PaySM gives eligible customers an affordable option to pay for their phone, tablet or mobile broadband device over time. Customers simply purchase an eligible device with a variable down payment, depending on device, and agree to 24 monthly installment payments for the device.

Are there any related service discounts associated with Sprint Easy PaySM?

There are currently no related service discounts for devices purchased through Sprint Easy PaySM.

Are business discretionary credits or other discounted device promotions (including those available as part of a Master Service Agreement with Sprint) combinable with Sprint Easy PaySM?

No. Currently no business discretionary credits or other discounted device promotions are combinable with Sprint Easy PaySM.

Who is eligible for Sprint Easy Pay?

  • New Consumer, individual liable and select small Corporate liable customers.
  • Existing customers can visit sprint.com/upgrade to see details.

Does Sprint Easy PaySM require an Installment Agreement?

Yes, Sprint Easy PaySM requires an Installment Agreement that allows a customer to pay for the device over 24 months. Additionally, the customer is subject to the terms of the selected service and is required to sign a month to month Service Agreement, but the customer will not be subject to a term commitment.

How will customer payments be divided up over 24 months?

Customers will pay the same amount for 23 months and the balance will be due with the final payment in month 24.

What happens if a customer on an Installment Agreement cancels service prior to completing their 24 device payments?

If a customer on an Installment Agreement cancels service prior to completing their 24 device payments, the remaining unpaid balance on the device will be due on customer’s next invoice.

Where can I purchase a device with Sprint Easy PaySM?

You can purchase a device with Sprint Easy PaySM on sprint.com and at participating retail locations.

What out of pocket costs does the customer need to pay at purchase when participating in Sprint Easy PaySM?

The customer will be required to pay all applicable sales tax against the Suggested Retail Price (SRP) as well as any applicable down payment for any device being purchased. See store for specific pricing details.

Are prepaid accounts eligible for Sprint Easy PaySM?

No. Prepaid accounts are not eligible for Sprint Easy PaySM.

Are corporate liable accounts eligible for Sprint Easy PaySM?

Yes. Select small corporate liable accounts are eligible for Sprint Easy PaySM. Large corporate liable accounts are not eligible for Sprint Easy PaySM at this time.

Can a customer pay more than their scheduled monthly Installment Agreement?

Yes, a customer can pay more than their scheduled monthly Installment Agreement.

Can a customer upgrade their device annually on Sprint Easy PaySM?

  • Tablets and mobile broadband devices are not eligible for annual upgrades.
  • Smart phones and feature phones may be eligible for annual upgrades while on certain qualifying plans. Log into My Sprint account on sprint.com for details.
    • Note: The phone the customer gives back after the 12 consecutive installment payments must be the same or equivalent model that was subject to the original installment.

Can a customer enroll in a device protection program (e.g. Total Equipment Protection) for devices purchased through Sprint Easy PaySM?

Yes, the customer has the option to enroll in the various device protection programs to protect, replace and repair their device. Enrollment in a device protection program is optional, but Sprint highly encourages customers to enroll to protect their investment.

The customer is responsible for their device if it breaks during their Installment Agreement. The customer will be responsible for the remainder of the unpaid balance regardless of the operability of the tablet.

How many Installment Agreements can an account have?

A customer can have as many installment agreements as lines of service they are approved for (Max 10 for consumers and individual liable customers).

Is there an activation or upgrade fee for customers who purchase a device through Sprint Easy PaySM?

  • For consumers and individual liable customers, standard $36 activation or upgrade fee will apply on the customer’s first invoice.
  • For business customers, standard activation fees will apply on the customer’s first invoice.

What if I go on Military Suspend with an active Installment Agreement?

If your line is suspended under our currently military suspend program, your Installment Billing payments will also suspend and your payments and service will resume upon your return from military service.

What is the Return and Exchange Policy for Sprint Easy PaySM?

Sprint’s Satisfaction Guarantee applies to all Installment Billing agreements. For more details about Sprint’s policy, visit sprint.com/returns.

Can I sign up with Sprint Easy PaySM through my Business Sales Representative?

No. Sprint Easy PaySM is expected to be available in additional business channels in the future.

Can I sign up for Sprint Easy PaySM if I pre-order a device?

What is the $5 Early Upgrade option and how does it work?

The Early Upgrade option is available to customers who are purchasing or upgrading a phone through Sprint Easy Pay with a qualifying plan. Simply choose to add on the $5 per month per line early upgrade option onto the Sprint Simply Unlimited Plan within 30 days of the new activation or purchase of a new phone through Sprint Easy Pay. After you've paid the $5 monthly charge for 12 consecutive months, you can upgrade to a new phone on Sprint Easy Pay. Giveback of your current phone will be required. See Sprint Giveback Program Terms for details. The charge will discontinue either when you choose to upgrade the phone or pay off all of your installment payments.

The $5 Early Upgrade add-on is not available for customers who purchase their iPhone 6 through iPhone for Life Plan.

Can I cancel my $5 per month early upgrade option?

Yes, you can cancel the $5 monthly add-on at any time. If you cancel, you will not be permitted to add the option back on until your next phone purchase with Sprint Easy Pay and you will lose the option to upgrade early if you have not completed any early upgrades that you are eligible to receive. Early upgrade option payments made prior to cancelling the option are not refundable.

How do I exercise my Early Upgrade option?

Early Upgrade for Easy Pay: Requires active add-on thru time of upgrade with minimum of 12 consecutive payments of both the add-on and an installment agreement for phones, new phone Installment Agreement, account in good standing, and give back of current eligible device in good & functional condition. After upgrade, remaining unbilled installment payments for giveback device are waived. A device upgrade does not guarantee customer can retain current plan.
