FAQs about the Unlimited, My Way plan and the My All-in plan

I’m already a Sprint customer. Can I change to the new plans?

Yes, Sprint allows you to change your plan at any time without extending your contract. Sign in to My Sprint or visit a Sprint Store near you to change your plan.

How can I check my data usage if I select the 1GB data option for smartphones?

  • Dial *4 from your phone
  • Text usage to 1311
  • Manage your account online via My Sprint

How can I prevent data overages on the 1GB data option for smartphones?

You can receive usage notifications when you have used 75%, 90% and 100% of your usage allowance when you are on the Sprint network. You will continue to receive notifications at 20 percent increments above the monthly data allowance.

You must enroll to get usage notifications:

  1. Visit sprint.com/mysprint and sign in
  2. Select the My preferences tab
  3. In the Email Notifications section, click Account & usage notifications
  4. Under Account notifications, add or edit your email address
  5. Under Security & usage notifications, add or edit your email address or to receive text alerts, select Send me a text message instead.
  6. Click Save
  7. Make sure all your account information stays up to date

Navigation is not included in the new plans. How can I get navigation?

You can evaluate the options available in the market, such as Scout and Google Maps. You can choose the solution that best meets your needs.

What is mobile hotspot data?

Mobile hotspot data is a separate monthly on-network data allowance from your phone’s data allowance. The mobile hotspot feature on your phone provides internet connectivity to Wi-Fi enabled devices.

How can I prevent mobile hotspot data overages?

You can receive usage notifications when you have used 75%, 90% and 100% of your usage allowance when you are on the Sprint network.

At 100% of your on-network monthly data allowance, you will receive a notification with the option to suspend on-network mobile hotspot usage or continue to use it and pay the overage charges. If you choose to accept overage charges, you will continue to receive notifications at 20 percent increments above the monthly data allowance.

I have a discount through my employer. Does my employer discount work with the new plans?

Discounts apply to the monthly data charge rather than the primary rate plan for lines on the Unlimited, My Way plan. The My All-in plan is non-discountable.
