Manage your inbox
When your inbox is full, new messages will overwrite old messages on most Sprint phones. You can lock messages to avoid erasing them.
- To lock messages, select Inbox, then Options, and then select Lock
- Select Delete All to erase all messages in your Inbox (only unlocked messages will be deleted)
- Select Delete Read Msgs to erase only the messages you've already read
For Nextel phones, your phone will hold 100 messages. You'll need to delete messages to receive new messages.
Storing text messages on your phone
Phones have different capacities; please refer to your phone user guide.
There's no storage time limit; however, when the inbox is full, you may be unable to store additional messages.
