Hands-Free Programming

1. Insert the battery and turn on your BlackBerry^® Style™ 9670 smartphone
2. The Set-Up Wizard will open; press the trackpad on Remind Me Later to close the Wizard so programming can take place
3. Once the phone is turned on, press the Menu icon
4. Scroll to the Manage Connections icon and press the trackpad
5. Make sure Mobile Network is On; it should have a check mark next to it
6. Hands-Free activation will start
7. When activation is complete, the upper right corner of the screen will show 1XEV by the coverage bars; if you do not see this, try the One Touch programming steps below
8. Use your BlackBerry Style and make a call to verify your phone is programmed
9. Note: If activation has completed successfully, but you cannot see the web browser icon:
• You can update the profile by going to Options > Network and Connections > Mobile Network > Menu key > Update Profile
• You can also perform a Register Now by going to Options > Advanced System Settings > Host Routing Table > Menu key > Register Now

One Touch Programming

If your BlackBerry Style did not activate correctly the first time you turned it on, or if you do not see the web Browser, follow these steps:

1. With the phone powered on, press the Menu button
2. Select the Manage Connections icon and press the trackpad
3. Make sure Mobile Network is On; it should have a check mark next to it; you will also see 1XEV in the upper right corner of the screen by the coverage bars
4. Go back to the main screen and press the Menu button
5. Go to Options and select Networks and Connections
6. Choose Mobile Networks
7. Press the Menu button
8. Select Update Profile and press the trackpad
9. Your phone will start provisioning; once complete, press OK
10. If you see 1XEV in the upper right corner of the screen by the coverage bars, provisioning is complete; make a phone call to verify your BlackBerry Style programming is complete
