Program your HTC Snap

Last Updated: Nov 18, 2013

You can use these programming instructions if you have a new phone or a used phone activated by a previous owner, and you have completed the Activate your new phone process in My Sprint. If so, you should refer to the page you printed showing the codes you need for these instructions to work.

To program your phone:

  1. Press and hold the red End/Power key located on the right side of the device to turn it on.
  2. Once you see the Windows Mobile screen the device will automatically contact the network and try to activate. If the device activates correctly, you will be returned to the home screen and the device will power cycle. If the device fails to activate, an Error Code 1012 will be displayed.
  3. To test the device, make a call. To test Internet connectivity, press left Softkey to select Start, select Internet Explorer, and press Enter.
  4. If first-time activation programming fails, go to One-Touch programming.
