Program your Novatel Wireless MiFi 2200

To install and run the MiFi 2200, the following are required:
- WiFi-capable computer
- Internet browser
Installing and activating:
No software installation is needed for the MiFi 2200. Provided that the data plan subscription and ESN have been established in the Sprint billing system, the device programs/activates automatically when the device is turned on and a WiFi-capable computer connects to it.
NOTE: Activation may require you to be logged in to a computer with administrative privileges to access the WiFi configuration utility.
To install and activate your device, perform the following steps:
- To remove the battery door from your device, slide it with gentle but firm pressure.
- Remove the battery from the compartment.
- Obtain the ESN for your device. It is printed on a sticker underneath the battery within the device.
- Contact Sprint by phone or chat. Provide the representative with your device ESN. The representative then activates your ESN within the billing system.
- Reinstall the battery and ensure the device is completely charged.
- Press the Power button.
- Within the wireless network manager on your computer, from the list of the available wireless networks, click to select Novatel Wireless MiFi 2200, and then click Connect.
NOTE: The steps to connect may vary slightly with different connection managers.
