Program your Palm Pixi

NOTE: To complete the steps in this article, your Palm® Pixi™ must be activated.

Hands-Free Activation

  1. Find the ESN on your phone, which can be found in two places:
    • Barcode sticker on the end of the original box (labeled MEID)
    • Barcode sticker under the battery
  2. Turn your phone ON
  3. Check for the EV indicator in the upper-right corner by the signal and battery power indicators. Note: If it does not appear, follow the Resetting the Phone steps below.
  4. If it appears on the screen, tap Try Again
  5. Select the desired language, and then confirm your selection
  6. Your phone will complete the Hands-Free Activation
  7. Tap Next
  8. At the Terms and Conditions screen, tap Accept. Note: You can read more by tapping + and .
  9. Follow the prompts to set up your phone
  10. When setup is complete, make a test call to ensure that activation was successful
  11. If the phone is not working, continue with the Reset the Phone steps

Reset the Phone

If Hands-Free Activation failed, you will need to reset the phone and begin the Hands-Free Activation process again.

  1. Press the Option, Sym, and R keys at the same time, and the phone will restart
  2. Perform the Hands-Free Activation steps again
  3. If the phone still doesn't activate, continue with the following steps:

    NOTE: You can use these instructions if you have a new phone and have completed the Activate your new phone process in My Sprint. Please refer to the page you printed showing the codes you need for these instructions to work.

  4. While pressing and holding the orange key, press ## (the # symbol can be found on the B key)
  5. When the dial pad appears, release the orange key, and then enter 786#
  6. From the bottom of the screen, flick upward, and then tap the RESET button when it appears
  7. Enter the 6-digit Master Subsidy Lock (MSL) code; you do not need to use NUM LOCK
  8. Tap OK
  9. Do not interrupt the reset
  10. The phone will show a slight pulsing of the Palm logo
  11. When the phone has fully reset, perform the Hands-Free Activation steps again
