You can use these programming instructions if you have a new phone or a used phone activated by a previous owner, and you have completed the Activate your new phone process in My Sprint. If so, you should refer to the page you printed showing the codes you need for these instructions to work.
Note: The Instinct s30 features Visual Voicemail. You will no longer have access to any non-Visual Voicemail messages after you switch over to your new device. You should listen to any messages you may have prior to swapping your device.
Note: The Instinct s30 is designed to program itself automatically when it is first turned on. When programming is complete, you can make a phone call to confirm that it was successful.
To program your phone:
Locate the ESN/MEID. The electronic serial number (ESN) or mobile equipment identifier (MEID) can be found in two places:
-
It can be found underneath the battery in the phone on the barcode sticker.
Turn off the phone and remove the battery to view.
-
It also can be found on the barcode sticker on the end of the original box
labeled DEC-HEX. Only use this number if you are unable to find the
ESN/MEID on the phone, as the box and phone do not always match.
