One-Touch Programming Steps

If you did not see the message Your device has been activated! OK when you first turned on your Samsung Restore™, complete the following steps:

  1. Turn on your phone
  2. Scroll to and select the Web icon to launch the web browser
  3. The voice and data services on the phone will be programmed; when complete, the phone will show a programmed successfully message
  4. Press OK
  5. The Web browser will launch
  6. Your phone is now ready to make voice and data calls

Manual Programming Steps

You can use these programming instructions if you have a new phone or a used phone activated by a previous owner, and you have completed the Activate your new phone process in My Sprint. If so, you should refer to the page you printed showing the codes you need for these instructions to work.

To program your phone:

  1. Find the serial number (ESN/MEID) on your phone. This appears in two places:
    • Underneath the battery in the phone, to the right of the barcode sticker
    • By the barcode sticker on the end of the box, labeled DEC-HEX. Note: This should only be used as a backup method, as the box and phone do not always match.
  2. Turn on your phone
  3. Touch ## followed by the 6-digit programming code, followed by an additional #. Example: ##123456# (Note: The last # entered will not show on the display)
  4. The SVC Menu screen will be displayed with View highlighted
  5. Scroll down to Edit
  6. Press Enter and the Phone Number screen will be displayed
  7. Enter the 10-digit MDN and press Enter
  8. The Enter MSID screen will be displayed. Note: Entering the numbers will clear out any numbers that are currently in the phone.
  9. Enter the 10-digit MSID and press Enter. Note: Do not enter the five zeros preceding the MSID
  10. This will take you back to the original SVC Menu screen
  11. Scroll down to Done and press Enter
  12. The phone will turn off and turn back on and voice programming is complete

Note: It can take up to 4 hours to complete the activation process and for your phone to begin working. If the provisioning process does not complete within 5 hours, contact us.
