Program your Treo 600

Last Updated: Nov 18, 2013

You can use these programming instructions if you have a new phone or a used phone activated by a previous owner, and you have completed the Activate your new phone process in My Sprint. If so, you should refer to the page you printed showing the codes you need for these instructions to work.

To program your phone:

  1. Find the serial number on your phone. This appears in two places:
    • By the barcode sticker on the end of the box (labeled ESN or MEID).
    • Underneath the battery in the phone, to the right of the barcode sticker. (Skip this step, if you have already entered in the Activate your new phone screen.)
  2. Place the battery back in your phone. Press and hold the Phone key to turn the phone on.
  3. Verify the screen displays the correct date and time.
  4. To display the dial pad, press the Phone key.
  5. If you have a new phone that has never been activated, follow the instructions below:
    • Using the stylus, press ## followed by the one-time 6-digit code located in the Programming Instructions section of the Activate your new phone page, followed by an additional #. (Example 6-digit code: ##123456#. The last # entered will not show on the display.)
  6. If you have a previously activated phone (a phone that is new to you, but not brand new), follow the instructions below:
    • Using the stylus, press ## followed by the secondary 6-digit code located in the Programming Instructions section of the Activate your new phone page, followed by an additional #. (Example-6 digit code: ##123456#. The last # entered will not show on the display.)
  7. Tap twice in the Phone Number (MDN) field, and then press the Back key to clear any existing numbers.
  8. Using the QWERTY keypad, enter the 10-digit MDN.
  9. Tap twice in the MSID field, and then press the Back key to clear any existing numbers.
  10. Enter the 10-digit MSID.
  11. Tap Save. NOTE: Once finished, the following message will appear: Activation Complete.
  12. Tap OK.

NOTE: It can take up to four hours to complete the activation process and for your phone to begin working. If the provisioning process does not complete within five hours, contact us.
