Program your Treo 600 NC

Last Updated: Feb 27, 2014

You can use these programming instructions if you have a new phone or a used phone activated by a previous owner, and you have completed the Activate your new phone process in My Sprint. If so, you should refer to the page you printed showing the codes you need for these instructions to work.

To program your phone:

NOTE: If you have already completed the Activate your new phone screen, skip to Step 2.

  1. Find the serial number on your phone. This appears in two places:
    • By the barcode sticker on the end of the box, labeled ESN or MEID.
    • Underneath the battery in the phone, to the right of the barcode sticker.
  2. Place the battery back in your phone. Press and hold the Phone/Power button to turn the phone on. Verify that the screen shows Date and Time.
  3. Press the Phone button to display the dial pad.
  4. If you have a new phone that has never been activated, follow the instructions below:
    • Using the stylus, tap ## followed by the one-time 6-digit code, located in the Programming Instructions section on the Activate your new phone page, followed by an additional #. (For example ##123456#. The last # entered will not show on the display.)
  5. If you have a previously activated phone, a phone that is new to you, but not brand new, follow the instructions below:
    • Using the stylus, tap ## followed by the secondary 6-digit code, located in the Programming Instructions section on the Activate your new phone page, followed by an additional #. (For example ##123456#. The last # entered will not show on the display.)
  6. Tap the entry text box beside Phone Number (MDN) twice, and then press the Back key to clear out any existing numbers.
  7. Use the QWERTY keyboard to enter the 10-digit MDN. Tap OK.
  8. Tap the entry text box beside MSID, and then press the Back key to clear out any existing numbers.
  9. Use the QWERTY keyboard to enter the 10-digit MSID. Tap OK.
  10. Tap the Save dialog box. Activation Complete will be displayed.
  11. Tap the OK dialog box. Please Wait will appear and the display will return to the dial pad.

NOTE: It can take up to four hours to complete the activation process and for your phone to begin working. If the provisioning process does not complete within five hours, contact us.
