Save a name to display when you receive a text message (Nextel only)

- First, enter your phone number and decide if you’re sending a text message (or SMS), two-way or multimedia message.
- Note: If sending an SMS, no characters appear after the phone number; if two-way, double asterisks [**] appear after the number; if multimedia, MMS appears after the number.)
Text (or SMS) messages:
- Select Menu.
- Select Store Number.
- Enter Name.
- Enter number or e-mail address; select OK.
Two-Way messages and Multimedia messages:
- Access Two-Way Messaging and scroll to Preferences; select OK.
- Highlight Subscriber Name; select OK.
- Enter last name; select OK.
- Enter first name; select OK.
