Send a text message from your BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone

You can send text messages (SMS) to up to 10 recipients:
- Click SMS and MMS icon and then press the Menu key
- Click Compose SMS Text

In the To field, do one of the following:
- Type an email address
- Type a compatible phone number (include country code and area code)
- Type a contact name
- Type part of contact name and then select the desired contact
- Type a message, and then press the Menu key and click Send
