You can opt-in to a Premium Text Messaging service by responding to a related advertising. These services are advertised on the web, print media, TV and on the mobile device web pages.
To subscribe to a service, just follow the instructions as advertised. Depending on the service, you will be asked to accept the terms and conditions and charges by responding back to the short code with a specific keyword, such as Yes or just Y or by entering a special PIN onto a website. Once you accept the charges, you will receive confirmation of your subscription to the service, pricing if applicable, and any other additional instructions on how to proceed.
Remember, standard messaging rates always apply. If you have a text messaging plan, these messages will be deducted from your allotted monthly messages. If you do not have a plan, then you will incur casual text messaging charges in addition to the premium charges.
If the content delivered requires you to perform downloading activity, additional data charges may apply. If you have a data plan, these charges will be applied to your plan rates. If you do not have a plan, then you will incur casual data charges in addition to the premium charges.
