If you are swapping from a Sprint Mobile Sync phone to one that supports Wireless Backup, you can have your contacts transferred to your new phone using the steps below.
Note: Before you start, make sure that you have activated Sprint Mobile Sync on your current phone. To check if your contacts are securely backed up, you can sign in to sprint.com and View your contacts in Sprint Mobile Sync. You can access it from the My device & media section of My Sprint, under Contacts.
Subscribe to Wireless Backup on your new phone by going to Settings >
Wireless Backup > Subscribe and follow the instructions to
enroll and activate the service
After subscribing, your contacts will begin to sync. Please leave your phone
idle for at least 30 seconds in order for the sync to begin.
You will see an alert on your phone that says your contacts have been stored
View your contacts to confirm they were transferred to your phone. They are
usually visible within 10 minutes of subscribing to Wireless Backup.
Note: Wireless Backup has a charge of $2 per month, but you may
unsubscribe at any time.
