Troubleshoot SD card error on your LG Optimus S

You may experience the following issue with your LG Optimus S™.
The SD card in your Optimus S may not be detected by your phone when it is powered on. When attempting to take a photo you may see a message to insert SD card, even though there is already an SD card inserted.
This is a known issue, and we are working to remedy it through a future handset software update. In the meantime, turn your phone off and then back on again, and it should recognize the SD card.
Note: At any time, you can check that you have the latest software version for your phone. For instructions on how to check your software version and update your phone software, refer to Check for Updates.
