Performing the following steps can help you resolve some of the more common device issues that you may experience with your Novatel Wireless MiFi™ 2200.
Verify the device is active on your account
To validate your MiFi 2200 is active on your account:
If you don't see it listed, you will need to contact us to complete set up of the device on your account. Have the following available before calling:
Find and update your device software
Just like a computer, the software on your device needs to be updated periodically to make sure you have all the latest fixes and enhancements to keep it running at optimal performance. Check your current version and perform any needed software updates.
The battery must be fully charged before using the MiFi 2200 for the first time. This will take at a minimum 2.5 hours. After the initial use and set-up, you may use with the battery alone or with the battery and the AC power.
Check for a PRL update
All PRL updates are provided by Sprint with over the air as requested using the User Interface.
