Troubleshoot if the 4G network is weak or not found by your Sprint 4G Desktop Modem

If the 4G network signal is weak or not being found by your Desktop Modem be sure to:

  • Position the Desktop Modem in the best position for optimal coverage (high floor, near unobstructed windows, etc.)
  • Power cycle the Desktop Modem (unplug it and plug it back in)

Note: More LEDs lit on the Desktop Modem indicate a stronger signal and can be associated with improved throughput (but not always, due to numerous factors). If only one or two LED lights are lit, indicating weak signal strength, check Sprint coverage information for the location of the nearest 4G tower and reposition the Desktop Modem to be closer to it.
