Troubleshoot if the temperature is too high on your Sprint 4G Desktop Modem

If your Desktop Modem reports a temperature too high, it will turn on Signal Strength Indicator LEDs 1 and 5.

If this happens:

  1. Power cycle your Desktop Modem off
  2. Make sure the ventilation panels are clear of obstructions
  3. Power cycle the Desktop Modem on again
  4. If you continue to have this problem, power cycle the device off again and contact us
