Troubleshoot if you cannot connect to the Internet or other devices when using the wall charger with your Novatel Wireless MiFi 2200

You may experience the following issue with your Novatel Wireless MiFi™ 2200.


If you leave your MiFi 2200 plugged into the wall charger and don't use it for approximately 30 minutes, it may go into an idle state if there are no programs accessing the Internet periodically in the background. The default is for the MiFi to maintain a constant connection when using the wall charger regardless of activity.


This is a known issue, and we are working to remedy it through a future software update.


In the meantime, to create an active connection again, simply press the Power button. To change when the MiFi goes into idle or shutdown mode, you can use the Power Management feature at http://mifi.admin or http:/192.168.1.1.
