Troubleshoot if you lose your contacts when you swap your Palm Pre for a new one

A software update corrects the following issue with your Palm® Pre.


If you swap your existing Palm Pre that is using webOS 1.3.5 or higher for a new one that has a lower version, when you sign back in to your Palm Profile and your new device, some or all of your recently added contacts might be missing.


To fix this, please update your handset software to WebOS version 1.4.0 or greater.


If you continue to have this issue, your problem may be server-related and will need to be fixed by Palm. Please contact them at 1-866-750-PALM (7256).
