Troubleshoot if your BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone screen is blank or not responding

If your Curve 8530 displays a blank screen or there is an error message on the screen:

  1. Turn off the phone
  2. Remove the battery and leave it out for 1 minute
  3. Replace the battery and turn on the phone
  4. If this does not resolve the issue or if you continue to have this problem, take your phone to your nearest service center
