You may experience the following issue with your Overdrive™ 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot.
Once your Overdrive reaches a certain temperature, you may notice the battery is no longer charging. However, since the device is plugged into AC power, the device will continue to connect to the 3G or 4G network, but the battery will not begin charging again until the device is below the charging shut-off temperature. It's recommended you turn the device off and wait until it no longer feels warm to the touch.
This is a known issue, and Sprint is working toward improvements in future firmware updates.
Note: At any time, you can check that you have the latest software version for your device. For instructions on how to check your software version and update your software, refer to Check for Updates.
