Troubleshoot if your Picture Mail messages show 9000 in the From area

You may experience the following change with Picture Mail on your phone.
Instead of seeing a familiar phone number, e-mail address or contact name in the From area on a Picture Mail message, you will see the short code 9000. This is due to changes in our Picture Mail network and how it affects phones that use Picture Mail 4.x software.
Phones affected include:
- Audiovox 8910 and 8912
- Hitachi G1000
- HTC 6600
- LG 225, 325 and 535
- Motorola KRZR, RAZR and SLVR
- Nokia 3205, 6165i and 6225
- Palm Treo 650, 690, 700p and 755p
- Samsung A600, A620, A640, A680, A700, A740, A790, A800, A840, A880 and M300
- Sanyo 3100, 3200, 5500, 5600, 6600 (Katana), 6650 (Katana II), 7400, 8100, 8200 and 8300
- UTStarcom 7075i
The sender's information can be found at the beginning of the body of the text message. To view the Picture Mail message to see who sent it, just open the message, select Go, and view the picture to see the sender's information.
