You may have data connectivity issues if you're unable to:

  • Connect to the Internet
  • Browse websites
  • Send or receive multimedia messages
  • Load Internet content within applications
  • Send or receive email

These steps help identify and resolve the underlying cause. After completing each step, test to see if the issue is fixed. If not, continue to the next step.

  1. Verify mobile data is enabled.

    1. From the home screen, press the OK key.
    2. Scroll to Settings, then press the OK key.
    3. Scroll to Others, then press the OK key.
    4. Scroll to Data Settings, then press the OK key.
    5. With Data highlighted, press the OK key.
    6. To enable mobile data, scroll to ON, then press YES.
  2. Update the data profile.

    1. From the home screen, press the OK key.
    2. Scroll to Settings, then press the OK key.
    3. Scroll to Others, then press the OK key.
    4. Scroll to Data Settings, then press the OK key.
    5. Scroll to Update Data Profile, then press the OK key.
    6. Press OK.

    1. Turn your phone off.
    2. Remove the battery. After 10 seconds, reinsert the battery.
    3. Turn your phone back on.

Note: To optimize device performance, be sure your Kyocera KONA is running the most recent device software. Check for software updates.
