Sprint recommends that you close background applications when you are done using them. It helps free up internal memory and can improve device performance.
Note: Five applications display even when they are closed: Home, Phone, Browser, BlackBerry Messenger, and Messages.

Sprint recommends that you clear the browser cache occasionally. Clearing the browser cache will delete saved webpages and other temporary files, which helps free up internal memory and can improve device performance.
A soft reset deletes any temporary files and can potentially free up internal memory.
Note: To optimize device performance, be sure your BlackBerry Style 9670 is running the most recent device software. Upgrade the device software.
