Below are several reasons as to why you may be missing the Sprint Navigation icon on your BlackBerry® phone, along with the troubleshooting steps that may resolve the issue.
A. If you noticed that the Sprint Navigation icon is missing, the icon may have been hidden by mistake.
Solution: To check to see if the icon is hidden, please follow these steps:
B. If you recently updated your phone and a reboot of your phone was not performed after the upgrade, this may be causing the icon and application to be missing. BlackBerry is aware of this issue and it will be addressed in the new 5.0 software for the BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Tour.
Solution: In the meantime, you will need to uninstall the invisible application by following these steps:
C. If you noticed that you did not have the icon initially on your phone, please check the Sprint Navigation icon push by following these steps:
Solution: If you do not see Sprint Navigation [BrowserConfig] listed in the Service Book list it is due to a Sprint Provisioning Issue. You will need to contact Sprint to re-push and sync up the correct service book including Spring Navigation [BrowserConfig] to resolve this issue.
